prayer on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan at the Faisal
Mosque. Tens of thousands of Muslim devotees took part in the last
Friday prayers ahead of the Eid al-Fitr festival marking the end of the

had a chance to visit the GRAND MOSQUE in
Abu Dhabi (Not complete yet, but open to visitors and for the prayers).
Here you can see some of the pictures that I took.I took all the
pictures with Canon 5D and the Canon 17-40 mm f/4L lens. I must say that
at times, specially at the main central hall, I felt that even 17 mm
was not wide enough to capture the grandure of the mosque.

It has 28 types of marble and 24-carat gold throughout
The 22,412 square metre mosque site equates to around the size of five football fields.
More than 3,000 workers and 38 renowned contracting companies took part in the construction work.
The mosque has 82 domes all of traditional Moroccan design – all decorated with white marble.
The main dome’s outer shell is 32.8 metres in diameter and stands at a
height of 70 metres from the inside and 85 metres from the outside. “

In the picture are Ahmad, 26 and his wife Fatima, 25 both “disabled”.
The wife is without feet and the husband is without hands. He eats by
her hands and she walks by his feet. Indeed, after seeing this picture,
don't you think that there is hope for the rest of us?
He has no
arms and she has no legs but what they are able to accomplish is
remarkable. She takes care of him good and he’s able to do almost
everything with his feet. Moreover, in their everyday life they do all
the housework without any help from the others. They are an amazing
couple.

TOUCHING STORY !!DO SHARE~The Girls were sitting in the class, suddenly
someone said that she had lost her money. Everyone was worrying and the
teacher called the guard to come and check everyone's Purse. The
Checking started from the first row. One of the girls sitting in the
last row got much worried and her body started shaking. As the guard
checking comes near her, she is anxious and tears are flowing from her
eyes:'
(. When her turn of checking came, she refused to
handover her purse to the guard, c∕̴Ɩ quarrel started. Her classmate got
dubious that she is the one who had stolen the Money. The Girl started
shouting, the Principal of the school came and took that Young girl to
her Office. The principal along with her staff requested her to give
them the purse for checking.
The Girl handed over her Purse and
when the principal opened it she sees left over bread, biscuits and
other foodstuff. Everyone got astonished
